A collaboration in poetry and in honor of Valentine’s Day, interpreting the current Grace Hudson Museum exhibit, Artful Liaisons. The exhibit explores the art, friendships, and correspondence linking three artists over the course of 35 years. Grace Carpenter and Oregon artist Edward Espey were students together at art school in San Francisco and romantically intertwined. But he didn’t get the girl… find out more about the story.

To be considered as a participant in the reading, students from the Out of the Ashes workshops in August and September, along with the community at large, are invited to submit stories & poems written in response to the 2017 and 2018 wildfires in Mendocino & Lake Counties.

Stories & Poems should be 4 to 6 minutes in length or shorter
